Holiday Party
November is Rotary Foundation Month
The Rotary Foundation transforms your gifts into service projects that change lives both close to home and around the world.

Since it was founded more than 100 years ago, the Foundation has spent more than $4 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects. With your help, we can make lives better in your community and around the world. Make a Donation Today.

Our mission

The Rotary Foundation helps Rotary members to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace by improving health, providing quality education, improving the environment, and alleviating poverty.

What impact can one donation have?
  • For as little as 60 cents, a child can be protected from polio.
  • $50 can provide clean water to help fight waterborne illness.
  • $500 can launch an antibullying campaign and create a safe environment for children.

 About the book:
It is 1985 in a small Irish town. During the weeks leading up to Christmas, Bill Furlong, a coal merchant and family man, faces into his busiest season. Early one morning, while delivering an order to the local convent, Bill makes a discovery which forces him to confront both his past and the complicit silences of a town controlled by the church.  This historical fiction novel is an international best seller and winner of the Orwell Prize.  Small Things Like These is a deeply affecting story of hope, quiet heroism, and empathy.

Rotary Youth Camp Update
By Laurie Mozley
Tomorrow is “Giving Tuesday”, the Rotary Youth Camp would like to thank all the Rotarians who have given and continue to give in order for the camp to serve the youth of the Kansas City area. Consider giving this Tuesday to the Rotary Youth Camp through our website, or to one of the organizations who use the camp during the summer months.
