At the K.C. Rotary Foundation quarterly meeting on 10/27/2023, it was decided that we will begin publishing the minutes of our meetings in the Buzzsaw. Youth Camp Update
Laurie Mozley, Camp Superintendent
Summer 2024 is over for the Rotary Youth Camp. We increased the number of groups who came out and the number of campers we served!  Here is half of the Rotary Youth Camp’s hard working summer staff. We hope to see them back next summer!
The MMG got some work done before the heat arrived today, repairing some things, remodeling others and designing better ways to serve our campers.
The Rotary Youth Camp serves 3 meals a day plus a snack for all our campers. The Camp participates in the USDA Summer Food Service Program and follows their meal guidelines to ensure the meals are healthy. The Camp also applies for grants to help cover the costs of the special dietary foods needed for some campers and fresh fruits and vegetables form our fruit and salad bar. Some campers tasted plums for the first time and everyone loved the berry selections. Remember, you are always welcome to join us for a meal during the summer sessions!
