This year\, we will host a select group of 90 students to come and interact with busines s\, civic\, government\, and educational leaders to learn firsthand about starting a business\, managing a new venture\, and the responsibilities that come with being a part of the next generation of business profession als. The event will take place on Saturday\, April 7th 2018 at Bloch Exec utive Hall on the campus of the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) . Our partners at UMKC will provide a great opportunity to use their stat e-of-the-art facilities\, technology\, and Business faculty to compliment the foundation values that\, for more than 40 years\, have made Camp Ent erprise a special and unique experience. The Rotary Youth Camp has a long and proud history. In the 1920’s\, Robert Gees\, a dedicated Rotary Club member\, came up with the idea to create a recreational camp for the you th of Kansas City and the city’s surrounding areas. Over the years\, the camp has evolved into a city-wide effort to educate the city’s youth on t he value of free enterprise\, business management\, entrepreneurship\, an d business ethics. We’re excited to meet this year’s participants\, and w e know you will take away new skills\, new friends\, and great memories f rom the experience!
